The Extended Warranty covers you in the event of product failure or breakage. It activates immediately when your appliance’s manufacturer warranty expires and offers a longer coverage period for up to an additional 4 years.

The Extended Warranty activates after your appliance manufacturer's warranty has expired. Extended Warranty purchase on existing appliances is available only within the product’s manufacturer’s warranty period, prior to the final 30 days of the warranty.

There are 4 ways to cover your appliance with Extended Warranty.

1. You can buy Extended Warranty as a bundle when you purchase your appliance online.
2. Purchase Extended Warranty for an Electrolux appliance you already own here.
3. Purchase over the phone by calling the Electrolux Careline on 1300-88-1122, from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.

After purchasing your plan, Electrolux will issue you a purchase invoice as proof of extended warranty coverage within 14 days.

To expedite service, have the following information ready when you get in touch:
  • We require a copy of your Extended Warranty’s purchase invoice. Please also have ready your product model number, serial number, along with your personal details (name, contact information) for verification.

If the appliance failure is not reported to us prior to repair, the repair will not be approved.
Our team will also verify your personal information for security, and ensure we have your correct contact details.

  • Why should you purchase an Electrolux Extended Warranty contract?
    The Electrolux Extended Warranty is a contract that adds extended warranty (ie breakdown cover) to the manufacturer's guarantee on your new Electrolux product.

    Benefits:
    1) Provides a Peace-Of-Mind, worry-free coverage up to 5 years
    2) Assures repair confidence from our repair expertise, which specializes in the maintenance and repair of Electrolux home appliances
    3) Covers the cost of all parts and labour needed to repair the appliance including transportation to/from workshops (excludes consumables and accessories)
    4) Covers the cost of a like-for-like replacement if the appliances cannot be repaired or is beyond economic repair
  • How long is the coverage of Electrolux Extended Warranty?
    For your peace of mind with the newly purchased appliance, Electrolux Extended Warranty provides an extended warranty coverage up to an additional 3 or 4 years, after expiration of your appliance’s 1 or 2-year manufacturer’s warranty.
    There are also other 1 and 2-year extended warranty plans available.
  • When does my extended warranty’s coverage start?
    Electrolux Extended Warranty’s coverage starts from the expiry of the original manufacturer's guarantee period, up to a further 1 to 4 years, depending on plans purchased.
  • Who will be repairing my appliances?
    Repairs are carried out by our own technicians and/or our pool of approved service partners.
    They are professionally trained by Electrolux, which gives them unrivalled knowledge and expertise with our Electrolux appliances.
  • Will the replacement parts be new and original?
    Replacement parts are genuine and new.
    These spare parts conform to our design specifications.
  • How do I make a claim or call for repair?
    When appliance breakdown occurs due to an electrical or mechanical failure, you may contact our Careline at 1300-88-1122 to report during office hours, or drop us an email at malaysia.customercare@electrolux.com.

    Our team is available every Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.

    Our Customer Service Representatives will be ready to guide you through the service process.

    To expedite service, please ensure that you have your contract details readily available before placing the call. If the appliance failure is not reported to us prior to repair, the repair will not be approved.
  • What is the coverage limit?
    The Electrolux Extended Warranty coverage is up to the original purchase price of your appliance.

    The aggregate cost of repairs and replacements made to your appliance shall not exceed the original purchase price.

    The Electrolux Extended Warranty will end when the coverage limit is reached or when the appliance is replaced (whichever is earlier).
  • What is not covered by the extended warranty?
    There are a few commonsense exclusions but the ones which most commonly apply are:

    1. If the damage is accidental or cosmetic - ie scratches/ dents which do not affect the function of the appliance
    2. Consumable items such as washer door gasket, oven light bulbs and batteries designed to be self-replaced
    3. External faults (such as electrical and water supply issues, wiring) or weather/ climate (such as rust, corrosion)

    The Electrolux Extended Warranty coverage is up to the original purchase price of your appliance.
  • What happen if my appliance is beyond repair?
    The Electrolux Extended Warranty includes a one-time like-for-like replacement of the faulty appliance if it is beyond economical repair.
    Due to technological advances, the replaced appliance may be of a lower retail price than the original faulty appliance.
